LOGISTIC & WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

Primary responsibilities include the coordination, tracking and execution of the company’s incoming and outgoing new product, service and/or demo equipment shipments, and organization of the company’s warehouse. This includes physically receiving and inspecting incoming orders and accurately recording stock counts in the company’s ERP system upon arrival; ensuring proper put-away of all incoming shipments. Picking, packing and shipment of all outgoing orders and accurately recording activity in the company’s ERP system upon the item(s) leaving the building. This position is also responsible for the general organization and cleanliness of the company’s warehouse. To be effective in this role, the candidate must be customer-oriented, flexible and able to manage multiple items at once. The ideal candidate will have or obtain a forklift ticket, be a high school or college graduate who has an interest or has taken courses in logistics or warehouse management, audio-visual technology, mechanical or electrical engineering; 3+ years related experience; familiar with a centralized ERP management system; has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and communicate effectively (written & verbally); has a proven track record of being highly organized. Other assets include being able to work independently, solve problems and initiate improvements to work processes. Key to success will be a willingness to be proactive; make decisions to resolve problems and disputes; support others, be flexible and an active contributor to the small team. The successful candidate must have a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License, be bondable and/or produce a Police Record Search Certificate and a valid Canadian Passport.
