Customer Service & Repair Coordinator

Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, Sales Team and international supplier contacts, this position is responsible for the resolution of all incoming customer service inquiries: identifying technical problems; determining cost effective solutions; ensuring that technical standards and services are resolved to the customer’s highest satisfaction; tracking all internal and external repairs; determining warranty status; preparing repair quotes and communicating turn-around times based on parts delivery; maintaining parts inventory; issuing quotes for parts; maintaining lists of parts pricing; monitor, organize and maintain demo inventory; and assist with tradeshow, seminar and demo preparations and setup. 

The ideal candidate will be: a college or technical graduate, or have relevant work experience in the audio-visual or related field; with 3+ years of troubleshooting experience; preferably in a smaller, technically orientated company that involved customer services responsibilities; highly organized; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a perfectionist who can troubleshoot and perform quality repairs; computer literate with Mac & Microsoft applications; familiar with CRM systems and practices;    capable to multi-task and meeting deadlines are important. Other assets include being able to work independently, solve problems and initiate improvements to work processes. Key to success will be a willingness to be proactive, make decisions, support others, be flexible and make a contribution in a smaller operation. The successful candidate must have a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License, be bondable &/or produce a Police Record Search Certificate and a valid Canadian Passport.

Inventory & Asset Coordinator

Primary responsibilities will be to accurately update and maintain the company’s ERP system, as well as schedule, track and maintain the stock of demo and new  inventory. This individual will also: provide support to regional sales reps, the internal team & customers; manage vehicle maintenance schedules; travel to & assist with setup and teardown at tradeshows, training sessions and sales demonstrations; drop-off and pickup of equipment in company vehicle.

The ideal candidate will be: bilingual – English & French; a High School graduate who has taken College courses in office admin., sales , marketing, theatre technology; has an interest in theatre production, mechanical or electronic technology; 3+ years customer service experience &/or relevant industry experience with a centralized ERP management system; have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and communicate (written & verbally) effectively; have a great telephone “presence”; be computer & social media literate; capable to multi-task, set priorities, meet deadlines and be organized are important. Other assets include being able to work independently, solve problems and initiate improvements to work processes. Key to success will be a willingness to: be proactive; make decisions to resolve customer’s problems and disputes; support others, be flexible and make a contribution as a member of a small team.
