Join Dave Bigg from DiGiCo for a series of sessions where you'll level up your skills and dive deep into the world of DiGiCo consoles. Whether you're looking for Intermediate, Advanced, or want to go all-in with an Open Floor session to Ask Dave Anything, this is your chance to get expert insights, hands-on tips, and all your questions answered in real time.

Intermediate
This session is designed for those who have a basic understanding of DiGiCo audio consoles and their core mixing concepts.
Each registered participant will be stationed in front of a console and the course will cover the following topics:
- Quick overview of the DiGiCo Console Range
- General Overview of DiGiCo Architecture
- Racks and I/O Option Setup
- Basic Routing
- Layout Options and Console Navigation
- Bus Structure / Matrix I/O
- FX Routing
- MultiFunction Macros
Attendees will have the ability to try their newfound knowledge with some hands-on mixing during the session.
Advanced
This session is designed for those who have a deeper understanding of DiGiCo audio consoles, advanced routing and optical configurations.
Each registered participant will be stationed in front of a console and the course will cover the following topics:
- Advanced Setups and Routing
- Snapshots and Automation
- Optical Racks and Loop Configuration
- Console Networking and Remote Control
- Advanced Layout and Bank Configuration
- Quantum-specific features
Users will have the ability to try their newfound knowledge with some hands-on mixing during the session.
No Script, Just Dave: Ask Away
This session is designed for those who know their way around DiGiCo consoles and are looking for ways to improve their existing workflows, leverage specific console features, or better understand what's going on under the hood.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask specific questions and have them answered by Dave. Dave will also demonstrate the use-case live for all attendees and where possible, suggest alternative ways to achieve the task at hand.
Because each registrant will have their own console to work on, there is limited space available. Those who are not able to register to sit behind a console are welcome to join the training to listen and watch the instructor from the general audience area. As the event gets closer, more console availability may open up, so stay tuned!

9:30AM • Inside the Vault: Clear-Com at a Nuclear Power Plant
Presented by Geoff Maurice, GerrAudio & Erik Devane, Clear-Com
Join this session to get an exclusive look at how Clear-Com technology revolutionized communications at a Canadian nuclear power plant. Hosted by Geoff Maurice and Erik Devane, this workshop will dive into the advanced wireless and IP-based solutions that were deployed to improve life safety and work efficiency of the technicians inside one of the most demanding environments.
During this session, attendees will be exposed to the inner workings of the plant’s largescale Clear-Com system comprising over four Matrix frames, multiple E-IPA Eclipse HX cards, and hundreds of wireless belt packs. Geoff and Erik will also demonstrate a custom-built web interface that was designed for the power plant to streamline workflows and redefine safety standards across departments.

12:00PM • Solving Audio Over IP Connectivity (AoiP) in the Digital Age

In today’s audio world, digital audio systems have surpassed people’s expectations and dare we say, becoming the go-to systems over the more traditional counterparts. Many audio formats exist and are in use today....Formats such as Dante, AVB/MILAN, Cobranet, Ethersound, MADI, AES3, AES50, MADI, and Analog are all still in use and can be found in many installations dating back 20+ years. AV professionals are faced with the difficult challenge of designing/retrofitting new systems to work with existing infrastructures and need help designing solutions that can bridge these audio technologies.
This course will cover the advantages and disadvantages of these AoiP formats and what solutions exist to bridge these technologies effectively and reliably.

1:00PM • System Design of Toronto's Iconic Scotiabank Arena
Presented by Bob McCarthy, Meyer Sound
Modern sports franchises face increasing challenges to bring fans out of their homes and into the communal space of an arena or stadium. Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena has accepted this challenge with a huge audio upgrade bringing full power, full spectrum, top to bottom coverage and spatial movement with a new Meyer Sound Panther/2100-LFC/Spacemap GO system. The installation was a multi-level collaboration of parties including the venue ownership, Canadian consulting firm Engineering Harmonics, integration partner Aligned Vision Group, Gerraudio Distribution and Meyer Sound. The needs of both the Maple Leafs and Raptors, as well as future concert productions were all factored into the design and installation.
At Demo Days, attendees will gain a unique perspective on the design and optimization of this iconic venue, led by industry legend 6o6 McCarthy. Joining him are Ian Robertson of GerrAudio, along with Josh Dorn-Fehrmann and David Vincent from Meyer Sound, all of whom played pivotal roles in the design and tuning stages of the project. During the session, Bob will share the MAPP design files, installation photos, and Smaart data, offering a deep dive into the process behind this collaboration.
