Tim Shaxson, Technical Sales Manager (& console aficionado), DiGiCo
Jason Reynolds, Touring Audio Engineer (Shaggy, Marley Brothers, Skip Marley)
Tim joins us for yet another Demo Days! He is a veteran audio professional of over 30 years, hailing from DiGiCo for the past 15. Tim has shared GerrAudio’s focus to serve and support our Canadian customers since Gerr brought on the line in the mid-2000s. We're very excited to have him back across the pond to demonstrate the benefits of DiGiCo's latest Quantum processing and show us what our friends over at KLANG have been up to as well...
But wait, there’s more! Tim will be joined by touring audio engineer, Jason Reynolds, to add some local insight and fresh touring experience to the session mix!
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Jason Reynolds (aka ‘Redz’) became passionate about Sound and Production at an early age while attending Pentecostal Tabernacle. He later began working with EMG Jamaica, the country’s largest concert production management company, where he had the opportunity to work with artists such as Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr, Donnie McClurkin, among many others.
Jason moved to Canada in 2004 and decided to follow his passion and pursue a full-time career in live sound. Most recently, in addition to being an install specialist at Soundbox Productions out of Hamilton, Ontario, Jason is the touring monitor engineer for Grammy-award winning artist - Shaggy, the Marley Brothers and Skip Marley.
Together, Tim and Jason are qu’ed up to unveil the latest technology from DiGiCo and KLANG... and there's a lot! A brand new Quantum 225 work surface, Quantum racks, and of course, KLANG's newest KLANG:konductor processing engine that every monitor engineer needs to experience and know about.
Class participants will be stationed in front of a Quantum-series console and integrated KLANG rig, and the session will include live KLANG demos for those who wish to participate. If you want, BYOB (bring your own buds… otherwise, we’ll have headsets available)!
Don’t miss this feature-packed, user-friendly combo class led by two industry pros!

DiGiCo Quantum Range
The Quantum range is more than just a family of advanced mixing consoles, it is DiGiCo fulfilling our promise to always look after the best interests of engineers.
The complexities demanded by modern live shows means that you need more than ever before from your mixing console. However, the pressures of life on the road mean that you often don't have the time to learn a new system. The Quantum family removes this challenge completely to give you a huge performance upgrade with no learning curve.
KLANG:konductor
KLANG introduces konductor - the newest immersive IEM processor with maximum flexibility and power for touring monitor engineers and install applications.
Boasting KLANG's newest, most powerful, ultra-low latency FPGA core, the konductor can handle up to 16 discreet immersive mixes with 128 input channels at 48 and 96kHz sampling rates.
